Prophetic Imagination

“Then said Jesus to them, ‘Peace be unto you; as my

hath sent me, even so send I you. (John 20:21.’”

God is very active in my life, as He is yours. The radiance I feel within, and project out reflects the presence of the Holy Spirit in my every action. I allow the passions of my spirituality reflect the God that made us all, honoring Him with the goodness that emanates from my soul given to me by God.

Mark writes and reminds us: “We must realize the ability of mental might to offset human misconceptions and to replace them with the life, which is spiritual, not material (1:15).” We say yes to helping God heal through us. Our prayers, our voices, and our actions bring justice to those who are in need of God’s Lovie and Mercy. This is our job; this is our prophetic passion – to serve God with all our hearts and with all our given means. We say yes to these powers a nd prayers.

My imagination is truly prophetic! God gives me the desire and ability to serve Him in all my days. I share God’s love and healing power with all forgotten brothers and sisters in our society.

We live in dangerous times; our malls and our schools are war zones. Nobody is safe from unexpected brutal death; there are so many souls suffering from this terror and violence. Please, follow the words of John. Share your prophetic imagination with all people you meet.

Gracious God, let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me to serve you.

How Long

How long, O God, how long?

How long must we awaken
to another death?
Each morning we read of
another massacre;
we are reminded that
gun violence is the norm?

How long, O God, how long?

How long must we continue to fear
shopping at the mall,
fear attending church,
accepting the dangers of venturing
from our homes?

How long, O God, how long?

How long must we continue sacrificing
our children for the gods of weapons
of war and money?

How long, O God, how long?

Glorify Thy Name

We are all created by a loving Father-Mother God; as Her children, we live in freedom and joy as loved and loving beings. We know we are safe. Male and female, we are created equal. . . reflecting Love and Truth. We live together as equals. . . as it was meant to be.

The Gospel of John begins, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Simple words. . . not so simple to understand. I have meditated long on this simple sentence. God is! In the beginning there was only God; then creation began with Man and Woman as equals in God’s eyes.

Let us allow the Word to dwell in us, forming us as perfect creations of God. Let us reflect this perfection in all we do. Let us live in Love and Truth. Let us sing our praise for the God of Creation, of perfection, of purity.

Let us share Your Word, Gracious God, thus glorifying Thy Name.

Joyful Light of Love

True joy is one of the blessed gifts from God, yet most of what we pursue are short-lived pleasures that are built on false dreams. Society teaches us that these tiny pleasures are what is important; the more we amass these, the happier we will be. I am not happy with these false promises. Without my spiritual awakening, I experienced little joy and light in my life.

Then I chose love and service; the joyful light of Life filled my heart and filled my days with God’s sweet beauty and glory; not my glory, but the reflection and sharing of God’s glory. My heart shines with the light of God’s Wisdom that we learned from the parables of Jesus. My heart projects God’s Love and Life.

God gives me all I need, and the more I give this to others, the more I receive.

When I receive and share the Wisdom and Life of God, I am comforted by His spiritual presence within me. This is the Kingdom of God giving me the power to share his love with others, healing them in their spiritual sorrow. Prayerful watching and sharing brings to me the armor of God’s protective light and I can accomplish my ministry in His joyful light of life.

Spiritual Devoutness of Pure Soul

God’s perfection and purity reveals that man created in His image is also perfect. This is God’s Truth, for the Soul of spiritual man is created by God, belongs to God, and is therefore a pure part of the eternal God. My pure soul is a creation of our perfect God, as is yours.

Our Bible teaches that my identity is a reflection of God’s Spirit reflecting purity. My Soul, belonging to God, cannot reflect inferiority; if my mortal side does, I am sinning by allowing society to govern my soul. Jesus’s transformation allows me to renew my soul’s connection the that of God, the supreme Soul.

The limited short-sighted materiality of mankind and society try to convince me that theirs is reality; nothing outside of God’s Reality is pure and eternal. Mortal society pulls us to the finite and the temporary. God’s Truth, The Word, enfolds our spirits and souls into the eternal grace of Love, Life, and Spirit. . . God’s world.

Be gentle to others;

share yourself and Love!

The treasures are yours.

Listen to the hearts of others;

soothe sorrow and pray.

Glorify His power!

Abide with others

in Truth and Life,

but mostly Love!

Room for Prayer

Photo by Luis Quintero on Pexels.com

My life runs amok each time I fail to pause allowing the presence of God in my very being. When I fail to open the room of my heart to God, I cannot function in my ministry. Regardless of the difficulty, I do not fear for God encloses me in His beloved care. God is all-in-all and His ever-present Life of Love eases the path I walk. God truly wipes away the fear and indecision in my Life. His Live of Life encompasses and boosts my very being.

I struggle to deny the forces that try to prevent me from attaining the totality of my meditative spirituality. My mortal brain tends to slip into outdated, forsaken thoughts. But when I reach the level of blessedness to grasp pure spirituality, my struggles slip into insignificance. Thus, I am spiritually governed by divine Truth. Artificial charisma and material despotism no longer control my waking hours.

My prayers and meditations cry to Wisdom; Her voice expands my understanding of Truth and Life, allowing me to supplant my own physical suffering with prayers for those in need of God’s Love and attention.

Make room for prayer in your life; enjoy the benefits of Jesus, the Christ within.

The Lord is My Light and My Salvation

God is Love; God is Life; God is eternal; therefore, Love and Life are eternal. In God’s realm, all are eternal. As with all of us, I am God’s creation in Life and Love. I, therefore, am both perfect and eternal. We are, I am if anything a perfect reflection of God, and as with a reflection, things are reversed which can distort our understanding of the relationship between God and Man.

We are the living temples of the living God. Although we are merely reflections, our core is our Soul and that belongs to God. For this reason, I and my spirit, not my flesh, represents myself when praying and meditating with God at my side. This is spiritual love; this is God’s Love at work within. We lack nothing in life for God speaks and works with us and through us all our lives.

Look for God – Always

“I am the Lord, your God” shouts Leviticus (26:1).

All we need do is open our hearts and listen with our souls and find God. I follow my heart, finding the treasure of eternal life and the everlasting lovingkindness that only God grants. He fills me with goodness and longing to share His good news with all. Like all, I am ignited by His divine flame which nurtures honesty and Truth within myself. Where God dwells!

My meditations on the teachings of Jesus lead me from the darkness of my life to understand the glory of God, who created me as an amazing and complex entity, an entity that is eternally spiritual. Jesus, the Divine way-shower leads me into Truth and Life, giving me more knowledge than I can possibly understand. But it is there for me to learn; it is there for me to purify myself in God’s Love and Life, as Jesus did.

Through God’s miracle of Life I breathe freely each day; this breath is God within and without, communicating with me. I need not look any further, for God is in me, God surrounds me.

Joy as a Paradoxical Gift

God’s Love opens the glorious possibilities of mankind, removing any limitations seemingly so relevant by mortality; God enlightens my darkness. I ask you to celebrate this with me. Join me in this journey. Please, join me. It is a journey; no, it is a beloved journey to finding joy.

God is at work in and around us, healing, loving, and comforting, giving us light, not darkness, eliminating hatred with Love, overcoming evil with good. needing courage to bring the joy of Love to our life.

The Holy Spirit is filled with gracious and loving aid to the poor bringing the brotherhood of the living God to our midst. God rejoices when we turn to face those in need rather than refuse to look at it. Our tender love and compassion brings the joy that only God can give to all involved.

Matthew writes that it is wrong for us to amass great wealth at the expense of the poor. We are to act in love and compassion in anticipation of the good, God in our lives. My mission in life is to keep bringing goodness, healing, and love to all whom I meet. The Kingdom of Heaven rules within, only we can allow This Kingdom to rule without.
