We are in the hands of God, and therefore, we are protected from times of trial. Beings God’s own, our spiritual lives are eternal.

Accept the criticisms and doubt of others, they seem to think that we are in the wrong; we have no idea what life is truly like. By being in the hands of God, we live in a state of peace. This peace allows us to love all humanity. Even though we may be ignored or abused by those who do not think of love in their daily lives, our hope is in the future, a future full of immortal love. This is true no matter how hated-filled words permeate society.

This life of love, and love of life, allows us to dance in the face of derision, shine in the dark days of hatefulness. The Wisdom of Solomon says: “Whosoever puts trust in him shall understand the truth: and such as be faithful in love shall abide with Him: for grace and mercy is to His saints, and He hath care for His elect.” Eventually, maybe not in my lifetime, Love and Peace will rule over the world, and when it does, all humanity will be forgiven.

Glorious is the fruit of humanity’s works, for the roots of wisdom and love will never fall away. May God bless you in your journey of Love today.

True worshipers worship God, by whatever name they call Him. God wants to praise us, give us His grace, and give us the lighted path to walk. I am reminded of the story of the blind beggar in Jericho, who recognized that Jesus was near and begged that Jesus restore his sight. Jesus’s response was simple: “your faith has made you well.” As with this beggar, we also pray that God hears us; our response to prayers is “Lord, hear our prayers.” We want God to hear us, not hiding from us. We know he is with on the shining light path, but we fear that he abandons us during times of trial. We want him to hear us pleading.

God is merciful; He breathes life into us each morning as we rise. He allows us to walk in His loving light. When we walk in His light, we are walking in the way of peace and love. We should not want it any other way. We hide our anger to allow our love to shine through; this way we share God’s lighted path. When we walk in God’s light, we are walking with humility, love, and faith; we are safe; no one can harm us.  

Walk with gladness and joy in your heart, watch sorrow and hardships fall away before you.

An exhortation to seek God sincerely, who cannot be deceived, and desireth not our death.

The book Wisdom in the Apocrypha gives us many connection to God. For some reason, the religious leaders who put together the first Christian Bible in the last half of the first century CE neglected to place these important books in our Christian Bibles. As the apostle Paul the writer of Ephesians says, we must put on our feet (bring into our hearts) whatever makes us ready to accept God in our lives.

True wisdom does not enter a mind filled with hatred and bias. By loving justice, we are filling our lives with the goodness of God. God’s wisdom that He gives us through Grace is benevolent. He listens for our words and deeds of kindness and love toward each other. The love we receive from God and pass to others fills the world with peace and wisdom that only He can give and only we can share.

We cannot be jealous of others, even in our own thoughts and personal habits, for God hears everything we think. We cannot hide anything from God, after all, He is within us always. Our negative thoughts do not help our own existence, much less that of others. God created life for all living creatures and what they may be for the benefit of all.

God’s love and the love we pass to others lives throughout eternity. Nothing can change this, except God. And, he will not stop anything that passes His love to others. In our personal covenants with God, remember to share what He so gracefully gives us. Wealth that is not shared benefits no-one.

When we experience union and intimacy with the divine, our realization is that we have encountered God in our lives. This changes us, and we should accept the change, because we are part of something greater than ourselves. Rather than looking for something impractical, we recognize that we are a part of this greater entity.

The hardships we face daily strengthen our hearts, allowing us to be closer to God and witness His glory. Our strong hearts protect us, filling us with His light and the joy of proclaiming witness to our bountiful spirits. We receive these from the powerful goodness and mercy of God.

Our commitments to prayer and mission are not just about our relationship with God; being the bearers of His light, we are responsible to share this with all people we meet. First, we carry the torch, then pass it on for someone else to experience the glory, spreading His grace.

This takes resolve and courage; the challenges often open us to people’s ridicule, persecution, or rejection, but the internal rewards we enjoy, and experience, carry us through our own days, lighting both our paths and those we share this journey with.

This is not always easy; at times it may feel more difficult for us to do. However, when we remember the cup that Jesus drank from, our task, our journey, is doable for us. All this requires is a strong faith in God and His goodness for us. Let us share His grace.

God’s light for everyone

Bless us to receive

The birthright as his children

Ignore the worldly wisdom

receive the kingdom of heaven

Within our souls rejoice, trust

We attain our haven

God’s light allows us

Honor those we do not know

Feed them, house them

As members of our family

Ignore the fear of those

You do not know

Strangers they are  not

But friends you have not met

Talk with them

Share with them

Bask in God’s light together

Encourage each other to love

Look toward Christ

Not our predatory culture

Share your spiritual awakening

To new life, to new love

Together, reach the light

that only God can give

When my friends enter my den, they are dazzled by the diplomas and plaques of thanks for all the volunteerism I have done in my life, from helping to coach the local YMCA swim teams to being president of the high school booster club, to name a few. Diplomas and plaques are opulent when one thinks of lack of true devotion to the needs of humanity.

Our religions tell us we are sinners because we are human. I cannot wrap my mind around this thought. I do not believe that we are sinners just because we are born of human flesh. We are created from the will and grace of God and therefore are His children, more than we are children of the human parents we have. When Jesus asks us to honor our father and mother, isn’t he also asking us to honor God, the supreme father and mother in our lives?

How’s this for a dazzling idea? Like Joseph, we are all shepherds; god’s desire is for us to shepherd our fellow man bringing the light of God into their lives. This does not mean to change their beliefs, but it does mean to model how it feels to be a true child of God; actions speak louder than words. Treat people with love, and love will return to you. This is God’s will; this is how we are dazzled by God’s love. If we show the light of His countenance, we are bringing our brothers and sisters into waters of the springs of salvation; we do not need to be baptized by John to achieve this.

God assures us every day that he is with us, within us, by our side, and we will have no harm done to him when we walk in His light. Some of my friends ask for a sign. I ask what sign. We do not need a sign that God is with us every single day. I look at the Sun rising in the morning; I hear the birds singing outside my window; I see the children playing games and know that god is with me every day in every way. I do not need another sign of His presence.

I know that God blesses us every day. If we allow Him to lead us, we cannot go astray. If we follow what our manufactured governments say, we walk not in God’s light but the light of selfishness and greed. The momentary dazzle of gold and silver fades very quickly when hardships occur. God’s dazzle never changes.

I look for God in the face of every person I meet; I see His face in theirs; people see this in me and smile; this is God smiling on me. This is God smiling on them. I believe that if I cannot see the face of God in others, I cannot see God in my life.

With every spiritual gift I receive on earth, I experience the dazzle of God’s Presence, Love , and Grace. May God walk with you today.
