Advent Word of the Day: Go

 

“Go on your way. See, I am sending you out

like lambs into the midst of wolves.” Luke 10: 3

 

“Go on your way”

how many times does Jesus ask us to go

how many times does He as us

to go spread the Word

we go spread his Gospel

we go away from church

to invite others into His fold

we go from our comfort zones

to spread His healing power

we go from the mortal path

to walk His lighted path

to invite others to join us

in our going out in His name

we go to bring His love

to all our brothers and sisters

in the human family

we go to Him asking

for forgiveness of the mistakes

we make in our lives

when we go to God

we are greeted with loving grace and eternal gladness.
