We are bold to be together; God champions each of us; Together we are undefeated; Brothers, sisters, those fleeing inhuman living conditions where leaders stonewall God.
All are welcome in this house. . . the migrant escaping violence. . . the weary traveler seeking rest. . . the stranger who knocks on the door. We are all worthy in God’s eyes. Being on speaking terms is great practice –
I am but a wee breath of air blended with the mild breeze that gently tingles the small hairs on your forearms. Beloved one, it is I, God breathing life into you.
I gave life to you in Eden with the same breeze you now feel I gave you control of my creation Yet you lost trust in my benevolence, my love.
Look at my clouds, great symbols of trust and prosperity, bringing water and wealth! For you, my beloved relax, think of clouds as good; I made them for You.
I am lost. . . I have fallen! My sense of life is tragic; the prophets tell me to talk about it, show my astonishment, pay attention to God’s Salvation, get back up. . . pursue a life of character, work with God’s helping hand to gain inspiration and integrity. . . and be lost no more.
There are so many things that can and do go wrong in our lives that we need a strong base to support us. This cannot be human or material but must be divine and spiritual. We have this innate longing to be better; lucky we have this wonderful teacher who said, “Not my will, but Thine.” And in the country today, I ask for the Grace of God to go to the children; they are being left behind by our society. I cry for them as Jesus cried for Lazarus and all of Jerusalem. The Romans of our day, our government, have taken all of the resources away from the poorest children of our society. I cry at their loss; I pray for the Grace of God to protect them, to soften the cruel hearts of our government to restore what has been taken from them.
