Sharing

Sometimes I wish I had more in life than I have now. I look at some of the things that my high school friends have that I don’t. I look at some of the things my children have. And I don’t. But I’m not jealous. I’m content. I have a nice family. No, I have a great family. I have had a great life. God has been with me for 81 years. And I jokingly say that I hope that he’ll be with me for 81 more. I have shared myself since I’ve been 20 years old. First in retailing and then teaching. I have a lot of insignificant letters after my name that mean nothing. But I really began to share, and I really began to learn, when I became a teacher. I shared. I learned. I shared. The more I shared, the more I learned. The greater my students became, the greater I became. Isn’t that God’s plan?
