Image of God?

I have no picture of God in my mind; I cannot imagine God in the shape of a human being; that would diminish God to something imperfect, as we are. My image of God is standing behind a table passing out plates of steaming hot ziti with fresh buns to those who haven’t eaten a good meal in days; I see God also in the back of a truck handing out warm jackets to those who have no protection against the cold nights on the streets of the cities and have no places to sleep except on those very streets. I remember the Bible teaching that God came to earth 2000 years ago, lived with the poor, the few did not like it, so they hung Him on a piece of wood. I picture God not forgetting the many whom the few have continued to overlook and forgotten, but God continues to bless and say, “Here I am, just for you!. . .especially for you!”
