When someone is grieving, our instinct is to step forward to comfort in any way we can, even if we are not experts. This is the goodness and promise of God’s love within all of us. As we approach our friend or family member, with our pot of comfort food, we are filled with the love and spirituality of God within us, bringing all the love that we can foster in our stumbling ways to the one who grieves. May you always walk in the light of prayer on your mission of compassion and love.
